Circles of Care Project Director

Virginia has a deep understanding of Native relationships, community, and culturally relevant practices in the Southern California region. She has worked in the Native community for over 22 years in several different capacities, such as, education, advocacy, cultural support, 2010 Census, facilitator, and mental health provider. Virginia has and continues to participate in advisory boards to increase the visibility of her community. In her spare time she participates in activities that ensure her cultural traditions and traditional values will continue on through her parenting, community involvement, beading and basketry.
