Crafting with Birdie: Pine Needle Baskets

🌸 Who: Birdie Pulskamp is an experienced beadwork artist and cultural educator who blends creativity with mindfulness. She shares her passion for beading as a way to stay grounded in community and reflect, guiding participants of all ages in hands-on, creative experiences.

Join us for a crafting workshop where we’ll learn how to create pine needle baskets. 

This is a free event. RSVP and registration with Sacred Path is required to participate. 

Please RSVP only if you can commit to both dates.

Please do your best to arrive on time. We want to make sure every participant is able to finish their project.

We will be having our virtual Indigenous Parent Advisory Council meeting this Thursday from 6–7 PM on Zoom. We will be sharing updates on our youth and family programming, including recent activities, upcoming events, and ways to get involved. This meeting is open to ALL Indigenous parents!

We also hope you can join us in helping shape future programming by sharing your ideas for parent outings, trainings, and workshops. Your input is important in making sure our offerings reflect the needs and interests of our community. This space is also intended to be a supportive environment where parents and caregivers can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.

This workshop is presented by the Indigenous Youth Empowerment Program. Youth will learn how to make a sage facial spray and smudge bundles while discussing ancestral smudging practices.

• Ages 12-26
